Handmade Vitakit Accessory by shuie Handmade Vitakit Accessory by shuie
Soo..... yeah... I was quite bored, and or productive..... (not quite sure which one.)

Anyway about the item, everything here was handmade, all except the metal fastening and the brown straps attached to the back of the vitakit. (I probably pricked myself over a hundred times). The fabric used was fleece (colors, Ruby, Brown, White, and Black, and foam boards were used as support for the walls and a few other parts.

How I came upon making the vitakit... Well, on Mumble some fellow guild mates were talking about making items, and the word vitakit came up. We then started talking about details of the vitakit and I thought to myself, "You know it's not that difficult at all, I want to make one." Plus who wouldn't want their own vitakit! XD So I made it!!! I wanted to make a different color other than the toasty red color, but the fabric that I used only had certain colors, and a vibrant pink or lime green was something I didn't want (even though they are quite pretty colors :P), they did have a blue, but the blue was too dark for me to actually match it with a vitakit from Spiral Knights.

This vitakit shouldn't be used in every day life, it's a nice object to take up space! (nods).

*note* there is no template for this vitakit, everything was measured by eye, (cause i was too lazy to measure everything out and also look for my ruler which...i have no idea where it is...) and constructed from a pixelized vitakit screenie xD

Also, the little girl on the bottom picture is my 3 year old niece, Midori. She didn't want to turn around and face the camera, instead she wanted to go outside with the vitakit on. (She calls herself Dora, The Explorer, because it has a little side pocket like Dora's Backpack).

EDIT: Ooops, sorry at the time my head wasnt processing because my fingers were hurting the whole time... the fabric that i used wasnt fleece, but felt... >..< sorry for the misunderstanding...
